Award Winning Digital Storyteller and Creative Director of Branding and Marketing
I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Little Red Balloon Stories.
I love running my own business but in December of 2021, I became the Creative Director of Branding and Marketing for "I am gorgeous®" created by former stylist for Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios, George Gonzalez. I continue to run Little Red Balloon Stories in the evenings and weekends.
I am proud to share the awards I have received for some of my past work. As a professional videographer and photographer committed to mastering my craft, receiving awards and recognitions like the ones I've highlighted below reminds me that my hard work is appreciated and motivates me to strive to do better.
"You seem overqualified to work here", Ellen DeGeneres said to me on national television after revealing I was a finalist for her 12 Days of Giveaway Geico Skybox Video Challenge.
After being recognized by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the second year in a row because of my short film, Ross K. MacNeill & The Orange Jeep, I took home the award I was nominated for!
My first short film, Sam Anderson: In My Own Words, was also nominated for a Crystal Pillar by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Chicago Parent and The Daily Herald published articles on the documentary's impact on the community.
In high school, my short film, Love Needs No Words, racked up 400,000 views on Facebook. Chicago Special Parent published a 2 page article on it's success and the story behind it.
